I’m not usually a big fan of Greek restaurants, as I find they usually all serve the exact same menu, and have the exact same decor. And while I enjoy grilled meats and rice and potatoes, it can get a little tired. But…. I love Kefi Greek Kouzina! Kefi is located on the side of the highway in Coquitlam. It’s in a strip mall next to ABC Country Restaurant. It’s close to IKEA and Riverview Mental Hospital. I was introduced to Kefi by a co-worker when we were working at Riverview, and given the choice between ABC Country Restaurant and a greek restaurant, I’ll always take the greek.

Luckily, Kefi stands out from the pack. The decor is bright and sunny and classy. It even has a vine-covered garden patio, if you’d like to enjoy your moussaka with the sweet sounds of highway #7.

I brought a friend here for lunch the other day, hoping to eat their Stuffed Sole, which I remember as being amazing. The menu at Kefi is quite extensive, with such things as “Ouzo Halibut“, and “Fettucini Skordato“. Unfortunately they were out of Sole, so we stuck to some more standard Greek fare.

Roast Lamb
Slow roasted dijon and oregano crusted New Zealand spring lamb shoulder. One of our signature dishes. Served with lemon roasted potatoes, spinach and tomato rice, greek salad, tzatziki, and pita bread.

Calamaria Meal
Marinated, breaded & deep fried squid. Served with lemon roasted potatoes, spinach and tomato rice, greek salad, tzatziki, & pita bread.
